Ralie K Scenario 3

The car ride was very enjoyable.  The group passed many tall buildings that shined like crystal.  Some had brick embroidering the sides, others lined with steal, and some trimmed with glass.  Her eyes followed each building, turning her head trying not to loose its sight.  Mr. Larry Johnson just admired her, with a big cheesy grin.  Dimitri was focused on driving to their destination.  He’d turn onto a different lane of traffic and yet again Ralie would gaze at the beautiful city.  Her eyes never feasted onto sights as these, this was a sight for sore eyes.  Ralie dreamt of being in a great city, as a young girl and now her dream finally came true.  She was full of excitement.
“Sir?” Dimitri interrupted.
“Oh, Dimitri.  Please, do stop and let us all have a bite to eat.” Mr. Johnson replied.
Dimitri immediately pulled the vehicle over and stopped near a small hot dog stand.  It claimed to be “The Best.”  He put the car in park and escorted Ralie and Mr. Johnson out.
“Ralie, I’m so sorry for the inconvenience.  It’s a shame the first meal you have to eat here is at a hot dog stand.  But please do hurry, we are on a time limit.”  and Mr. Johnson handed her some twenties.
Ralie walks to the stand and spoke in a soft voice “Yes, can I please have one?”
The man on other side handed her a plain hot dog with a bun.  She handed him the cash and he gave her change in return.  Ralie managed her way to find the condiments and started to dress her dog. Ketchup first, extra mustard second, and just a tad of relish, that was the way she liked her hot dogs.
Finally, a cure for her starvation.  She brought up the deliciousness to her mouth and took a big bite.  As soon as she turned around, she ran into an old gentlemen.  He had a hot dog as well, topped with a stained cowboy hat, gray whiskers covered the top of his lip, a denim button up, a big golden buckle, and at the bottom was some dirty leather boots.
“I’m so sorry!!” she said quickly swallowing her mouth full.
“Oh, It’s not your fault.” he returned brushing off the crumbs.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, Ma’am.”
“Well, where are you headed? I just got here.”
“I was headed to a bank, for a loan.  I just got here as well.”
“Well!!! How bout that!” she said with a smile.
“Name’s Texas Jack.” extending his arm.
“Ralie Kay.” and she shook his hand.
“Ralie? Hone please lets get moving.” Mr. Johnson interrupted and so Ralie nodded and contined back to the parked vehicle.

Kaelen Scenario 3

Kaelen kissed James again, and he went inside for his job interview. She felt a sense of happiness and pride in her boyfriend, for trying so hard to support their newly growing family. Although she was nervous about going somewhere with someone whom she'd never met before, she was looking forward to spending time with someone who could possibly become a new friend. Living in a huge new city where she new no one, this would be good for her.
“Are you ready to go?” asked Leiah.
“Yeah, I guess. What kind of cafe is it?”
“Well you can get things there like coffee, tea, and muffins. Its a pretty good place to talk.”
“Hmm..sounds good. Lets go then.” They both got into the car and drove off down the street. As the neared the cafe, Kaelen started to get really nauseous.
“Can you please pull over? I think I’m going to be sick.” Almost as soon as Leiah stopped the car, Kaelen quickly opened the door and threw up.
“Are you going to be okay?” Leiah inquired.
“Yeah, yeah I’m fine. It's just morning sickness. Well its not the morning but you know what I mean.”
“You're pregnant? Well congratulations! Lets go find ourselves a spot inside.” Leiah opened the door for Kaelen, and they both walked inside. They chose a table by the big window overlooking the busy street. Almost as soon as they sat down, a waiter brought them a menu.
“What can I get you two ladies to drink?”
“I'll have a caramel mocha frappuccino.” said Leiah.
“I'll just have a glass of water.” said Kaelen.
“Okay, I'll be right back with those for you two.” Kaelen leafed through the menu, but didn't really feel hungry enough for anything.
“Where are you from?” Leiah asked.
“I'm from a small town in Missouri. What about you?”
“I'm from Hawaii. Its a really nice place to live, though I kind of wish we'd get snow down there. What finds you up here in the lovely Big Apple?”
“Back in my small town, getting pregnant before getting married is shunned upon. As soon as my parents found out that I was pregnant, they kicked me out of the house. I moved in with my boyfriend James. Obviously that didn't last long, because his parents kicked him out. His dad is kind of an a-hole. We just wanted to move far away from there,to a totally different place to start our family.”
“So you chose New York?”
“Yeah, I’ve always wanted to come here, and its far enough away from everything so that we won't be bothered.”
“Ah I see. Well, I’m not from New York either. I'm from Hawaii.I came here to visit my uncle, the officer that captured that woman today. He's my dad's brother, but I’ve never met my dad before. He left when I was really little.”
“My dad left when I was just a couple years old, so I never got to know him either. He's written me letters, but my mom kept them from me.”
“I never asked. What's your last name?”
“It's Gracin. What about you?” When Leiah heard that, she got a look on her face of shock.
“That's odd. That's my last name too.”
“Whats your dad's first name?”
“Nathaniel.”
“Wait, what? Did you just say Nathaniel”
“Yeah, why?
“That's my dad's name...” They both sat in silence and wondered, could they really be sisters? Could this be the kind of thing that only happens in Hallmark movies?
“Do you think we could be sisters?” asked Leiah.
“Well, our dad's have the same names, and we do kind of look alike. Oh my gosh, i'm feeling light-headed. That's a lot to take in. Wow.”
“I know right. How do you think we can find out if we're related or not?”
“I don't know. Take a paternity test or something?”
“That's a possibility. This is so cool! To think that I might actually have a sister!” Kaelen and Leiah sat and talked for about thirty minutes in the cafe. After a while Kaelen got the call from her boyfriend that he was finished with the interview. Kaelen and Leiah got up and went outside to the car. They drove to the building where James was waiting. Kaelen got out and asked him about how the interview went.
“How'd it go?”
“Well, I have good news. I got the job!” James exclaimed.
“Oh my gosh, that’s great! When do you start?”
“They said I could start tomorrow. Isn't that awesome honey?”
“Yeah, but what about us moving?”
“I was thinking we could just stay in a hotel tonight or something, and then work everything out tomorrow.”
“Ugh, okay I guess. Do you want us to come get you now?”
“Yeah, I’ll be waiting outside.”
“We'll be there in a few.” Kaelen hung up the phone. She seemed kind of agitated.
“Is everything okay?” asked Leiah.
“Yeah, I just wanted to get settled in a little today. Lets go get James.” Kaelen and Leiah headed out the cafe doors and got into the car. Soon, they arrived at Jame's new job. Kaelen stepped out of the car to talk to James. Sitting there, Leiah thought about what it would be like to have a sister. She had been an only child until now...

They talked for hours about their family and Jazmine looked at the clock and she had to go. So they exchanged cell phone numbers and emails . And she walked out .

Jasmine and Colter

[She was finally waking up after her day of touring New York. She even made it to 5th street before all the stores closed. She was so excited to finally see where she has always dreamed about. Now she just couldn't wait to finally open up her own store. She had wanted to put her store in the exact middle of the street where everyone would have to at least go by her store to get where they were going so maybe they would look in her store and have to stop. As she was daydreaming about all this she jumped out of bed. She just finally realized something she had forgotten about all along. Since she used up all her money getting here, she would have to find a job. Oh my god it was already eleven o’clock. She hurried into the bathroom took a very quick shower and got dressed in her best clothes she brought with her.
If she thought this job hunting thing was going to be easy she was way off. She went all over the town. She started off with the stores on 5th street where she wanted to end up herself. But none of them were hiring. She wasn't happy already. So trying to stay positive she went around town trying to find a job. It was getting late and she had gotten nowhere. So right as she was about to give up she drove by this bar. No she couldn't bring herself to work at a nasty bar where everyone is nasty. Well she had no other choice so she dragged herself into the bar and found herself standing in owe. It was a normal nasty bar. It was clean and even had a stage. This shouldn't be that bad right, well if they would even hire her. So she mad her way to the owner and surprisingly enough he was over joyed to hire her. He did it right there on the spot basically no questions at all. She was kind of excited she would be serving drinks to some nice people who would be there to watch this play thing that would be going on, on this stage. She was so ready to work. Well that was until she got to work the next night. Things were definitely not what they seemed.

Colter was enthused to get a job!  Looking everywhere because no job openings or offers at the Empire State Building.  He put in his application at every place he could get to within three hours.  With only one, interview offered to him.  At the Pub by Day.  Seemed to be a very busy bar.  He knew he would like it!  With the more information he found out about it his modeling skills would come in handy even more and more.  The shift was for the night, and he would start the next day.  He came in in the required maximum uniform.  A black muscle shirt and jeans, with what ever shoes he desired.  His boss was quite excited to see how he would do.  He had the impressive resume, and desire able look.  Starting his job he was nervous.  He slowly got on stage and entertained the guest like expected.  He did a star of a job!  Grabbing every females attention in the room.  Even the new bar tenant.  The cute girl that gave him the lift the rest of the way to New York.  He had to see her and talk to her.  He didn’t know her but he had a since of affection for what had seemed to be a complete stranger.  What was her name though?  He couldn't seem to remember.  He kept staring at her the rest of the night even through his next shows to see if she had a name tag or someone said her name.  The boss took quick notice of his attention for her.  She wasn’t happy either.  The boss was hoping to hire this “beef cake” in hopes to have his attention all to her.  I mean she was the boss, wasn’t he supposed to be impressing her?
At the end of the night, before Colter could reach this young lady, his boss asked him into the office to discuss the work schedule he would be on.  She knew then that the two knew rookies would not see much of each other.

The following week Colter seen no sign of this mysterious beauty whose name he couldn’t remember for anything.  He had went in on the last Thursday of the month to pick up his check which he knew would be big seeing how the boss had him working so much.  To his wondering eyes what should appear?  A pretty blonde girl, with eyes full of tears.  This killed him to see such a beauty with tears, he could not resist but to aid her.  He conversed with her and came to the conclusion she was home sick.  He had to make her feel better, show her parts of New York she had not seen yet.  He gently asked her if she would accompany him on a date.  She was very hesitant to this because he was a co-worker, but then decided how much harm could one afternoon out with one good looking guy do?  They headed back home and he would later meet and pick her up from her apartment, and head out to East Parkway and eat the most ravishing cuisine he had ever had and hopefully the best for her as well...
Oh she was so gorgeous she put what stars were in the sky to quick shame.  She was quiet at first but he was shy, he had never seen anything so pure.  When they got to the restaurant all changed though, it was as if they both came alive all of a sudden.

Disaster

The date was amazing.  Everything he had aspired for it to be.  Taking her home though, he wasn’t quite ready for.  She was so beautiful and it seemed to end so early.  From there they waited outside of the restaurant for the taxis.  Where she bestowed a kiss on his left cheek.  He instantly went numb from the waist up.  He went on his way from there.  At his apartment he had settled down on his futon, and was ready to rest.  He couldn’t though, the young lady left kept pondering in his mind.  She was so beautiful.  The most beauty he had ever seen, and yet had to work of.  When all of a sudden he heard a shout!  It was the lady across from him.  She kept screaming, so he ran to her rescue.  She was upon a fire.  She was making tea, and fell asleep, and all the water had vaporized and set the pot upon fire.  He ran in and like a hero sprang into action.   He grabbed the closest blanket he could and started setting out the fire.  Withing thirty minutes of scolding work, he had finally put the fire to rest.  The fireman had finally arrived after it was handled though.  The lady was shocked, she was in tears and almost uncontrollable.  Finally he had left and let the other neighbors, help her out, he knew he had to get rest, he was working a double shift later on that day.   He had told everyone a twork about his success the night before, his pure bravery , and how he had never done anythign like that before in California.  He was enthusiastic about all of this, but he seemed to be the only one enthusiastic about it.  He eventually gave up about the whole topic and just became a silent beinbg.  The rest of hte day until he seen the most beautiful person he had seen in fwell a day.  He told her of his story, and she was so proud of him she kissed him again with her big beautiful lips on his left cheek.  He finished his shift and headed back tho the apartments, and began his rest once more. When all of a sudden he had gotten a looked at his answer machine, and seen that he had a message.  Who from, there are only so few that actually have his number.  Colter then finally listened to the message, it was the local fire department.  The wanted to meet him.  Why?  Was he going to be in trouble now because he did a public officials job?  Was he going to be fined?  He showed up the next day and decided that they were very appreciative of his actions, and that he saved a ladies life.  They offered him a job.  What?  Colter had never thought of being something like this.  His field of choice was never thought to be a fire fighter.  Modeling the closest he was ever going to get to that was the stripping job he worked every now and then and he was having trouble keeping a social life with that.  HE took it, with only about two minutes of hesitation.  He put in his two weeks at the bar, and he got so happy so fast.  He moved to a better destination, and made more money.  Colter finally got he girl of his dreams, and eventually became the fire chief.  Who would have guessed that a California boy, who went to New York with the dream of being a model, would soon have to anticipate the sound of a bell ringing for the next fire.

Sam Frost Scenario 3

Sam arrived at the hotel and fell asleep waiting for tomorrow. The next morning Sam woke up and walked outside. He headed towards the Statue of Liberty to scope out the meeting spot for this afternoon. Sam found a building on Elise Island that was being worked on right across from the Statue of Liberty. Sam went back to his place he was staying and when Sam got back one of the guys that Takashi sent out to look for info on “Him” was waiting for him at the door. The guy said before I give you the info we need something (Sam) “what
“we need you to kill a man who has been giving info out about there gang when you kill him well give you the info. The informant is at the Statue of Liberty meeting with some guy if you have the chance kill the guy too”. Sam went up stairs and got his case with his rifle he walked and boarded the harbor to get back to the Island then walked to the building that it was working on.
Sam waited for one of the workers to come out for lunch and when one of them did he knocked him out and took his clothes and the Sam walked up to the highest floor and set up his gun and aimed at the Statue of Liberty and looked through the scope and saw the informant talking to someone, but Sam couldn’t see the man he was talking to. Sam slowed his breathing and then held his breath and pulled the trigger. Through the scope he saw the man fall down, then Sam saw the guy the informant was talking to and shot again but missed and Sam looked through the scope and didn’t see anyone so Sam started taking his gun apart as fast as he could so he could get out of there and then when down the stairs and left the building heading back to the fairy to go back to his hotel. (Sam Frost)

It was almost over, the information was almost in Matthews grasp the only thing standing between him and what he wanted was traffic.  All this time and the only thing stopping him from finishing the first part of what he set out to do was traffic, of course.  He decided it would go much faster to get out on the streets and walk , but here where he was, “where am I”  he thought in all this time he never paid attention to where he was actually heading , but for something like this it was worth it to make it on time.  He walked for close to three hours before he even had the Statue in sight, at that point he stopped, rested, looked at the view, and then kept moving forward.
It took some time to get to the point where he was able to finally walk up the stairs of the statue, but at least he was there.  Every step he took the anxiety of everything was building inside him.  He got to the top and was immediately pulled off to the side.  “Hey what the......” he was taken to a room and was instructed to stand on of side of the wall while the informant stood on the other side, for security reasons, cameras and all. They only got the chance to talk for about three minutes before something happened,  the informant fell over in the glass of the shattered window, right after he fell another shot hit the wall next to Matthew.  He began to run, running faster than what he did in his earlier days, running, running, never stopping.  At this moment he thought “I came this far and I am not going to get killed now of all times.”
(Matthew “Ray” Porter)

Sam got back to the hotel and got a call from Takashi and was told to meet up at the recreation center by the waterfront park. Sam met up with Takashi and was given info on “Him” and also a job. Takashi wanted the person who the informant was talking to, dead and was going to pay a lot of money to do it. Sam agreed and told him he’d call when the jobs done. ( Sam Frost)

Matthew was still wondering what just went down up in Mother Liberty.  Whoever killed the informant knew that we were meeting there and likely would be coming for Matthew one way or another most likely sooner rather than later because whatever Matt has gotten himself into is linked to someone else somehow.  He was lucky enough to at least get the location of one his prey’s safe houses and it isn’t very far away.  The location was a place that he has been to before, it was where he had first met Jimmy “Frost” and his prodigy who I never did get the name , but the kid looked vaguely familiar.  After that incident 21 years ago when someone broke into his house killed his wife nearly killed Matthew in the process, after that all the memories of the past just seem like vague memories lost through time. It was a place off the coast of Maryland, in Baltimore at a place called Point Breeze docks.  (Matthew “Ray” Porter)

Sam got some info about the guy who met with the informant. It seemed that the man was heading to Point Breeze docks in Maryland Baltimore. Sam called a taxi to take him to the address. While riding in the taxi Sam thought about the name Point Breeze and why it sounded so nostalgic. Sam kept trying to remember but couldn’t until he arrived at the place. Sam looked around and finally remembered about coming here once, he remembered that “He” brought Sam here when he was five so he could meet some guy.
(Sam Frost)

Matthew had just arrived at the docks and started scoping out the area walking, watching. He got to where the storage units were held and started walking past them until he got to an open area, he caught a glimpse of something to his left, but when he went to look in that direction, Bang! someone shot at him nearly hitting him in the head, he saw the mans face, it was Sam. Matthew took cover, unholstered and cocked his gun, then Sam took cover behind the nearest container.  A few shots were exchanged between the two men.

“Sam, that’s your name isn’t it”

“how do you know my name”

“vague memory from the past, I recognized your face , but I don’t remember where we met”

“your the guy from the subway, I’ve felt like I’ve met you some where else”

“why did you try and kill me”

“the Chinese gang wants you dead”

“why does the Chinese gang want me dead?”

“I don’t know, they think you have some info on them”

“why do they think that”

“the informant you were talking to”

“they got it wrong, all I wanted was a name and a location, which I am guessing its you who ruined it for me”

“what was the name”

“none of your concern”

“fine I’ll let you go for now, It was easy enough to find you so if your lying then I’ll find you again”

After the little incident Sam left to link up with his Takashi, while Matthew stayed and waited to see if the man he is looking for comes back to this location or if, Sam had spooked him off, only time will tell, time that Matthew has plenty of.

Jon Doe Scenario 3

Jon rolled over in bed to see a digital clock displaying bright red numbers glowing in the darkness, though with his foggy vision, he couldn’t quite read it. He then rolled back to his back and stared at what he thought was the ceiling of an uncertain room in the dark abyss. Only very little light came in from the window, covered by thick drapes. Light could only enter the room by crawling underneath and dying out before it reached the shadow of a white, wooden dresser.
Still starring at the ceiling, Jon rubbed his eyes and began to wake up more and more. His vision began to become more focused. He rolled to look back at the clock and read it as “8:14 p.m.”
Oh my, Jon thought to himself. I didn’t come to New York to sleep. I came here to live!
Jon shot up out of the bed and made his way toward the light switch. After he made it within a few feet of the switch, the door began to open, shedding bright light into the still dark room. A feminine hand reached in and hit the light switch into the “On” position, and nearly blinding Jon.
“Are you awake, Jon?” said the girl.
“Yeah,” he said in somewhat of a painful tone while he shielded his eyes. “Who are you again?”
The girl laughed a little. Not one of those obnoxious fake laughs that can instantly change someone’s mood for the worst, but instead, it was a cute laugh that you couldn’t help but to love. “I’m Rachel,” she said. “You must have been really tired, huh?”
“Ha, yeah,” Jon replied. “I guess I was.”
Rachel finished walking into the room and closed the door behind her.
“Are you well-rested?” Rachel asked as she walked to her dresser and started taking off her jewelery.
“Yeah,” Jon answered. “Better than I was.” He uncovered his eyes, and while squinting, made his way back to the bed and sat on the corner. He began to smile a little. “How was work?”
“Oh, horrible,” she returned. She started to unbutton her shirt. “Mark, our General Manager, was just riding my ass all day.” She then took off her shirt and started to work on her skirt.
“Oh, well,” Jon said kind of awkwardly, covering his eyes. “That... sucks.”
“Oh, my bad,” Rachel said, walking into the bathroom. “You look like somewhat of a lady’s man; The kind of guy that would get a lot of attention.”
“No, actually,” Jon announced, uncovering his eyes. “My parents never let me go out on dates.”
“That’s too bad,” Rachel answered back from the bathroom. “Just from first impressions, you don’t seem like one of those douchey kinds of guys.”
“Thanks, I guess,” Jon replied after a short silence.
“No problem,” she acknowledged happily. “Are you doing anything tonight?”
“Yeah, but,” he said reluctantly. “I kind of wanted to go out and party a little bit and have a late night.” There was only the sound of Rachel brushing her hair.
“Well, I have to work in the morning, really early,” Rachel responded as she walked back into the room in her underwear. “So, I don’t think I can go.”
“That sucks,” Jon said, trying not to stare. “Can I, uhh.. Still use your room?”
“Oh yeah, for sure,” Rachel answered while stilling brushing through her long, dark brown hair. “But, before you leave town, we need to go out sometime and get to know each other a little. I think you are great guy. Obviously, you respect women, just by the way you are acting about me standing here half-naked, and you have not yet to make any sexual gesture, unlike most of the other guys in this city. I like that, and I like you.”
“I have to say, Rachel,” Jon replied. “I like you, too.”
“That’s good!” she said gleefully. “If you would have said anything different, I probably would have kicked you out.” She smiled, and walked back to the bathroom.
Jon got up and walked toward the bathroom door.
“And I also have to say that you are damn cute,” Jon announced while approaching her nervously.
“Oh yeah?” she asked. “Is that so?”
“Definitely,” he said back, putting his arms around her waist. Jon leaned in started kissing her neck.
“You know, for someone who hasn’t been with any girls,” she started out, “You’re pretty smooth.”
“Ehh.. I’m working on it,” Jon said with a joke as he backed off. “But hey, I’m gonna go.”
“Are you sure?” Rachel looked at him in the bathroom mirror. “You looked like you were getting pretty comfortable.”
“You’d be surprised,” Jon replied almost sarcastically. “I’ll be back, though.” He walk through the doorway and towards the door out of the room.
“You better, Jon,” Rachel said jokingly. “Or I’ll have to hunt you down and lock you away all for myself.”
Jon laughed and opened the door. “I promise.”
“Alright, have a good night,” Rachel said. “See you in the morning.”
“Yes, you will,” Jon acknowledged as he walked out of the door. “Good night.” The door shut and the locking mechanism latched right after, only to be opened by a copy of the magnetic card.
Shit, I forgot my key on the table, Jon thought to himself as he raised his hand to knock on the metal door. While going in for the first knock, Rachel opened the door with the key in hand.
“Forget something?” she asked handing it to him.
“I did,” he said. “I was just about to knock and ask for it.”
“Good!” Rachel replied. “I was afraid that you left it on purpose because you didn’t want to see me again.”
“Of course not,” Jon answered to the accusation. “Why would I pass up someone like you? Some so... Amazing, to say the least.”
“Awe... Fair enough,” Rachel judged. “Have a good night.”
“You, too,” Jon replied as she shut the door again.
Should I have call her “babe” just then? Jon thought. Ehh... It’s probably too soon.
Jon walked over to the elevator and hit the down button to call for it. After a few short moments, the elevator bell dinged and the doors opened. He walked in after a random strange looking man walked out. The man was dressed in a tan suit and had light brown hair. Ignoring the slight oddity that had just crossed his path, Jon pressed the first floor button. The elevator door closed, and descended down to the ground level.
When the door opened, it revealed a completely different aspect of the hotel’s lobby than what Jon once examined. It was lit up bright, and bustling with activity. The windows were darker, but cars’ headlights lit up the city. Just about every car outside had an illuminated yellow “Taxi” light perched perfect on their roof. He made it to about the center of the room when he heard his name from a familiar male voice from the middle of a crowd. The crowd breaks revealing Kurt sitting on the couch with a guitar in his lap.
“Jon,” Kurt repeated.
“Oh hey,” Jon said out loud.
“What are you doing?” Kurt asked.
“About to head out,” Jon answered. “Ya know, find something fun to do.”
“Hell yeah,” Kurt said. “Mind if I join you?”
“Why not,” Jon said back.
Kurt jumped up, guitar still strapped around him.
“Let me run up to my room real quick,” Kurt said.
“Go for it,” Jon nodded. “I’ll be here.”
The crowd dispersed and Kurt ran to the elevator. Jon walked through the people and made his way to the couch that Kurt was once sitting. A younger looking man walked over to him and sat down beside him.
“Hey, man,” the man said. “I heard you guys were going partying.”
“Yeah, we are,” Jon asked with a little bit of an attitude. “What’s it to you?”
“You mind if I joined you guys?” the man asked.
“Why not,” Jon replied in a lighter mood. “Before we can party together, though, we have to at least know your name.”
“The name’s Andy,” he said. “Andy Scott.”
“Alright-” Jon was interrupted.
“I’m ready now,” Kurt said quickly.
“Wow, that was fast as hell, bro,” Jon replied.
“Yeah,” Kurt said with a smirk. “Who’s this?”
“Andy Scott,” the unknown man said.
“What are you doing here, Andy?” Kurt asked.
“Just here to party,” Andy said.
“Yeah, he’s going to go with us,” said Jon.
“Just fine by me,” laughed Kurt.
And so the three guys walked out of the lobby together. It was a little strange for all of them. They didn’t really know each other all that well. Each had their own reason for being in this grand, unknown city. Yet, everything was okay, at least for now. The boys were being boys tonight.
With cigarettes lit and windows rolled down, the group rode through New York in Jon’s car and admired New York City’s light shows between the skyscrapers, ground hoggers, and all of the advertising. In fact, when the guys drove through Time Square, all of their mouths dropped in awe. Lights flashed, and color changed on the giant advertising billboards. After stopping at a red light, Jon was given the chance to look around, but only for a short time. A similar angry cab driver from earlier that day honked and yelled at the Shelby GT350 to move out of the way. Jon shook his head, refocused his eyes, and rolled on.
“So, where are you guys thinking we should go?” Jon asked.
“Somewhere with stiff drinks,” Andy recommended.
“I’d be fine with that,” said Jon. “What do you think, Kurt?”
“Well, seeing as we’re all guys here, why not do what guys do?” Kurt asked.
“What’s that?” Jon responded confused.
“Go to a strip club!” Kurt yelled.
“Yeah!”  Andy replied, giving Kurt a high five.
“Alright, I guess,” Jon said nervously. “I don’t know how well this will work out, though. I’ve never seen a girl naked. Today was the first time I had even seen a girl in her underwear.”
“Really?” Andy asked and burst into laughter. “No offense, but that’s hilarious.”
“You’re parents really didn’t let you live at all, did they?” Kurt questioned.
Jon shook his head. “I haven’t even had a girlfriend. My life has always been about education and shit like that.”
Kurt put his hand on his shoulder. “That doesn’t matter tonight, man. None of it does. Tonight...” Kurt looked around the car, then continued. “We’re gonna live!”
“Sounds good!” Jon said excitedly. “Where to?”
“On it,” Andy said, pulling out his cell phone. “Hmm... It looks like a place called ‘Cheetah’ is nearby.”
“Sounds... Nice?” Jon replied.
“Yeah, it does!” Andy shouted.
“Let get to it, guys,” Kurt suggested.
Jon drove for a few blocks and listened to Andy’s directions to get to it.
“There it is,” Andy pointed out.
Really? This is the place? Jon thought. It looks like a low budget shantytown infested with diseases.
“Alright, boys,” Andy started off. “Tonight, we are men... End of heart-warming speech.”
Each of them laughed their own laughs while Jon pulled his car into the parking structure right next door to the strip club.
“Party time!” Andy kept repeating over and over.
Kurt finished up his cigarette just as Jon found a parking spot, and through it on the ground below. He then got out of the car, Andy right behind him. Jon reluctantly made his out of the car, knowing that tonight was probably going to be trouble.
And apparently, it was, since the last thing he remembered was walking in the door and changing his mind entirely about the club.
Wow, this place doesn’t look half bad, Jon thought.
